On Saturday July 19th and on Sunday July 20th 2008 ETP Holland organized for the 4th time the international ceramics event 'Delft Ceramica' in the city with its great tradition of Delft blue, pottery and porcelain. All participants in Delft Ceramica had to meet certain criteria, i.e. professionalism, quality, originality, innovation. An expert jury has decided who could participate in the event.

The theme in 2008 was: Water, source of all life. In the Vermeercentrum at the Voldersgracht (a short walking distance from the Market place) on Saturday July 19th the exhibition 'Water, source of all life' was opened (see also Latest news).

In 2008 for the first time the Delft Ceramica Award was presented.
